Newborn baby photography

Brand new mum Megan popped into the Gold Coast Photography Studio last week with 7-week-old Brooklyn for a photoshoot. Photographing babies can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, but Brooklyn was a little treasure and was either wide awake and looking straight at the camera or fast asleep and he didn't even object too much about being shifted around and put in a bucket!

When doing a newborn baby photography shoot in the studio, safety is key, and so the lights are set up a bit differently to minimise the chance of any falls or trips. However, the "light all round" style suits newborns and babies as it's unlikely that mum will want a shadowy low-key shoot of their new bundle of joy!

This baby photoshoot with Megan and Brooklyn was a lot of fun, and the pictures came out great!
