Studio photography workshops in 2018
Happy New Year! As we go into 2018, it should be every photographer's resolution – no matter how good they are! – to improve their photography this year and to get the best photographs they've ever taken! Here at GCPhoto, we'll do out best to help and there'll be lots of studio photography workshops and photography courses in 2018 to make sure you get the full potential out of your digital SLR.
Photography courses
In 2018, there will be lots of photography courses for complete beginners right through to more experienced photographers who are thinking about turning pro, as well as workshops for different types of photography such as portrait and landscape photography. These photography courses are run through GCPhoto and often take place at the Gold Coast Photography Studio, you'll find more information and get regular updates from the Gold Coast Photography Courses Meet-Up Group. You'll also find information on the GCPhoto Calendar.
The very first photography course coming up is the PhotoStart workshop on Friday 19th January, which is perfect for beginners and those who have just got a new digital camera for Christmas or for those who want to get off auto and make the most of their camera's potential in 2018. The cost is $55 per person and places are limited so get in touch to book now!
Studio photography workshops
The Gold Coast studio photography workshops were a great success in 2017 and we got so many fabulous photographs. This year will be no different and we've already got some great models and photoshoots lined up. This year, the studio photography workshops will cycle through the Studio 1 Workshop, which is a great introduction to studio photography, the Studio Plus Workshops, which are themed workshops in the studio, and then the Studio Location Workshops in which we get out of the studio to do a real photoshoot.
You don't need to be an expert photographer to come to the studio photography workshops. We'll go through all the settings that you need on your camera and will explain how the lights work, how to pose your model and how to get great studio and modelling photographs. All you need is a digital SLR and enthusiasm!
The first studio photography workshop will be a Studio 1 Workshop on Saturday 20th January. The cost is $120 and places are limited so book your spot on this fun studio workshop now!
Cheers,
