Introducing Muppet The Studio Dog
Amongst all the photographers, models, make-up artists and stylists that come along to the Gold Coast Photography Studio photoshoots, there is no bigger star than Muppet The Studio Dog. He's a 5 or 6 year old (we don't really know, he came from the pound) Schitzu maltese cross something-or-other (don't really know that either), and he can usually be found fast asleep in the studio. Although some of the shots make him look very sad, Muppet's a friendly little bugger (it's just his trick to get cheese and treats out of you) and is always happy to see anyone who is popping in – he's so friendly, in fact, that the post-woman has been known to pop in even if there isn't any post to deliver...
However, brilliant as Muppet is, he's an absolutely hopeless model and utterly fails to take direction or to sit still for long enough to take a photo. The last photo in the bunch, for example, shows Muppet leaping out of a crate. This photo was supposed to be called "Dog in a Box" but it's quite clearly a dog escaping from a box. Despite commands, threats (not very effective ones), promises of doggy treats, and then actual doggy treats, we couldn't get him to sit in the box and this was the best shot of the lot!
